Mental Health education and resources for Persian Diaspora
This website is primarily developed to offer reliable, scientific, and evidence-based information to the Farsi-speaking communities around the world. Additionally, it provides a directory of mental health providers competent in the Persian language and culture.
Most of the content of this website are developed in Persian (Farsi) but there are some topics and resources in English that you might find helpful.
In the directory of mental health providers (below), you can find a list of psychiatrists, psychologists, and therapists who are familiar with Persian language and culture. Providers can sign up and list their practice on this website. No endorsement or affiliation with this website should be inferred or claimed. Please feel free to shared this with your colleagues or doctors who might be interested in listing themselves on this website.

In the repository of mental health resources, you will find educational materials in Persian on various topics of mental health. The resources are aimed to be short and easy to follow. They can be used as patient handouts for your Persian-speaking patients.

It has been supported, in part, by a fellowship grant awarded to Dr. Parsa Ravanfar by the United States Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA) minority fellowship program. The ongoing development and maintenance of this website is supported by charitable donations from the community and professionals.
